The Serai Bali, is situated on Balina Beach near the village of Buitan. Buitan is one of many villages that can be found in this districts that make up the Regency of Karangasem, one of eight regencies in Bali. Karangasem, physically, is dominated by the towering presence of Mount Agung, Bali's most sacred and highest volcano. Culturally, it has remained a very conservative area.
